NEED BASED SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

Stamford Youngtimers is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for young girls of Stamford to learn and play the game of basketball.

The Youngtimers organization wants to ensure that all girls, no matter their financial situation, have the ability to play in the league. As a result, the organization offers “Need-Based” Scholarships for participants. This scholarship rate is a substantial discount to the regular program fee. In extreme cases, the fee may be waived.

A family may apply for a scholarship by emailing league president Tim Frank at mcryky14@gmail.com. Your request will be kept in strict confidence. Requests are considered during the registration period and parents are asked to be clear which programs they are requesting a scholarship.
